Working for the Weekend

When you have to work from home, you focus and ignore your house and your family. When you have to actually go in to work on the weekend, it's so dark and quiet and lonely you also need to entertain yourself, like listen to a podcast. I can't believe how little I got done this weekend.

Indeed it is really spooky to be the only person at work. We had spring break last week, and I had work that could only be done on my school computer -- at some points I was the only human being in the whole building (although there were staff across the way in our administration building).

oh yes -- I had a lovely surprise in my mail box this morning. Now I'll have to make sure I come there some day, if just to visit Tony Packo's Cafe!

Good! If you ever did visit, I could take you to a Mud Hens game and to the museum.

Spooky... Reminds me of a story...

I've been trying to reply to your last e-mail since Thursday, but it keeps booting it back saying addressee unknown. I was just going to say that I actually have a small, but really neat collection of logo mugs at work -- several college mugs, a couple of business ones, one from a soap opera, a Dr. Who mug, and others. The Tony Packo mug goes really nicely with those. I have them all lined up across the top of the hutch on my desk and have little stuffed animals in them.
