Did you know they have a Lorem Ipsum generator to make dummy Lorem Ipsum text for layouts? Is this because the original is too distracting? "Dude, wait, I'm looking for the part about pursuing pleasure instead of pain..."
I've been worried for quite some time... What is it that motivates us? Is it pride? Looking at me friends, everyone has something. "Yes, am organized and here's how..."
Since April, with the big political brou-ha-ha about elitism (7:09), I've been feeling kind of guilty. I'm happy that my friends are awesome: professors and chefs and mensans and poets and programmers and mathematicians and rescuers and comedians and writers and artists and musicians and spiritual seekers and hard-working and super-moms and all-around bad-ass chicks...
My guilt was alleviated slightly when I was driving home Friday night. And I realized, I don't know anybody who isn't totally awesome in some way or another. So, hah! Egalitarian, after all... We all rock.

Funniest thing I read today: I was reading my son's issue of Science Illustrated. It mentioned a tea that can be used for weight loss. The plant is called Rauwolfia Vomitoria. Hmmm...

(Mega) Mashup I am not going to make: "Danny Boy" and "City of New Orleans" and "Hey There, Delilah" and "The Boxer" and "Kiss Me"

not sure that a little pride as motivation is a bad thing, better than fear, anxiety or hatred as motivators!
When I was writing, I thought I was going somewhere... I'm bummed, I sound like a jerk. I'm struggling to get back to religion as my core motivation...
No, you didn't sound like a jerk, only like some one who is searching, which is great.
Hey, wow. That list of friend awesomeness makes it looks like I have like hundreds of friends... Really there is a lot of overlap!
