I just had to laugh, because I know the feeling. While I was in California, I stuck to my diet better than I had for a month -- being around my mother's constant carping about my weight and how I eat has that effect on me. I felt hungry the whole time I was in California. So I figured surely I had lost three or four pounds. Nope. I'd lost 8 onces! Went from 270.6 to 269.8 -- grrrr!
Christ, I wish I had your problems. I couldn't gain weight for the life of me, sugar or no sugar. I kind of flatline at around 156 pounds (5'9") but I have such a miniscule appetite that I'm frankly thinking of becoming a Breatharian.
Or a monk. I'll live on Froot Loops or something (blessed by Buddha, of course).
Good luck with the sugar. I can't wait till I actually get an appetite and start munching those Hagendaaz almond/chocky bars every night.
